Lindos View Hotel

I spent 10 days here and had a lovely stay. The view over Lindos from the breakfast balcony was stunning, and I never got tired of looking at it each morning. The rooms were really nice and properly cleaned on a regular basis, not just given a quick tidy. You could smell the cleaning products afterwards. The staff were attentive, friendly, and polite, a real asset to the hotel. I liked the food, although the options felt a bit limited compared with most places I've stayed. I'd 100% return when I'm in Lindos again.

The location was great, close to town, and we loved looking out over Lindos from our spacious, clean, nicely decorated room. It was cleaned every day, which was brilliant. The staff were so nice and helpful. Denis really made the trip for us with his kindness and friendly smile each evening. He's a great cocktail maker too. We also appreciated the massage the hotel gave us as a gift. Can't wait to return.

I wouldn't stay here again. After booking six nights, we had to change rooms after four because of availability when we booked. The next room was an old, very dirty underground one that badly needed renovation. We asked to pay extra for a two-bed suite but were told it wasn't available. I showed reception on my phone that the room was available on the website at that moment. They still said it was full, then changed their story and said it was available after all. The upgrade fee they offered was much higher than the website price, especially considering what we'd already paid for those two nights. We were then overcharged for an economy room for two nights, and they refused to refund any difference, saying the poor state of the rooms was apparently our fault. The receptionist came across as smug and unhelpful, patronising us with, “you can move rooms twice then”, while another staff member laughed instead of helping us sort it out. Being laughed at while we had to keep changing rooms was upsetting. What should have been a relaxing stay turned into stress and repeated room moves. Be careful to question the details, because our experience was that they would lie, play dumb, and overcharge us.

After six visits, Lindos View has become a home away from home for me. The rooms are spacious, modern, and always clean. It's a perfect spot for getting in and out of Lindos. The welcome from the staff has always been warm and friendly, and they make everything feel easy. I've never had a bad experience here and would recommend it to anyone. I don't think I'll ever have a bad one!
