Majestic

This was so bad I don’t even want to give it one star. The breakfast area smelled awful, and the plates smelled too, so I assumed they weren’t being cleaned. We had to pay 7€ for the AC, but it started leaking, so we didn’t actually get to use it. When we asked for another room, at least, the staff said, “where am I suppose to find a room.” The lady then said it wasn’t that much water and we could stay. The reception was the worst. When we arrived, they asked for our passports, then the lady said she’d give them back today or TOMORROW and asked why we needed them at all. There are much nicer hotels for this price.

The room was filthy: the pillow had red stains, the shower head was rusty and dirty, and there was mold and yellow staining around the room. The breakfast was unbearable and completely inedible. From the moment we entered the lobby, the staff seemed upset and arrogant. It was clear they hadn’t been taught how to treat paying customers. The manager seemed extremely angry with the guests; we could hear him yelling from his office in the lobby, and guests came out crying, perhaps because rules had been broken. The hotel is central, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even if it’s cheap. It didn’t feel like a holiday.

We’re here right now, 22.6.25. Yesterday was peaceful, and so was this morning, but now we’re surrounded by 17 to 18 year olds partying on balconies and in the hallways. It’s hell. I’m not that old and I enjoy a good time, but come on. There are at least 25 people next door in one room. I’ve reported it to reception, so we’ll see what happens. This feels like an 18s party place, which wasn’t mentioned on the Love Holidays site. There’s also €35 tourist tax, £63 for air con, and £20 for the safe. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The room was a bit worn, but it was always clean, and the staff were consistently very friendly. It’s a nice hotel close to the centre, with a small shop nearby selling bread, drinks, and everyday essentials. I can recommend staying here.
