Olive Garden Hotel

Huge thanks to Kristina, Anna, Marius, and the whole team. They were there for us 24/7, treated the children with warmth, love, and respect, and found a solution whenever something came up. I can’t describe how good they were. I’d highly recommend this hotel to any family. Thank you so much, Yaniv from Israel.

The animation team really made our stay. We enjoyed the shows and games, which can feel cringe at other hotels. The bar staff were polite, smiling, and great, too. Our room was spacious enough and comfortable, with a large bed. The bathroom could use a refresh, but it was nothing major. Food was typical all inclusive, not especially varied at breakfast, though lunches and dinners were good, with a nice selection of meats, sometimes fish and seafood, decent desserts, and delicious pitas between meals. The nearest beach was only a few minutes away, but it was dirty, so we stayed by the pools instead. The town is quite far, though there’s a bus stop nearby that lets you see some of the island. The hotel was pleasant, good value for money, and we had a good time. Recommended.

The staff were pleasant and worked hard, but the all inclusive meals were repetitive and recycled, and could be much better. There’s little nearby, no bars, shops, supermarkets, or other restaurants, so you’re a captive market. The beach is a five-minute walk, though it’s more like rocky industrial rubble by the sea. We’d paid for an upgraded room, and it was only adequate. It lacked polish, quality fittings, expected facilities, and comfort. There was no kettle, the WiFi was weak, the TV kept buffering, the fridge didn’t work, and neither did the air conditioning. The remote batteries were leaking and decaying. Around the complex there was always a faint sewer smell, and there’s no warm, dry, air-conditioned lounge or bar, so you have to sit outside.

It’s a lovely place for a relaxing holiday, with clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and plenty of tasty food through the day. The hotel is a bit out on its own, but everything you need is on site. The all inclusive lager, wine, vodka, and hot drinks were palatable. I picked up a few bottles of Pepsi Max from the shop because the soft drinks weren’t great. Cheers!🍻
