Palm Bay Hotel

Our week has been wonderfully relaxing. We had a sea-view room on the second floor with a shared pool, which was perfect. The reception team were lovely when we arrived at 2am, helping with our case and showing us to the room. Breakfast is now a buffet, with good eggs, bacon and mushrooms, decent sausages and fresh melon to finish. The evening entertainment is up there with what you'd get at a four or five-star hotel. For what we paid, I could have had a wet weekend in Centre Parks. 😁😁😁

The beach bar was a highlight. We had lunch there every day, and the chicken gyros pita is a must. They do everything from smoothies to cocktails. Palm Bay's pool is clean and lovely, with lots of sun and umbrellas, though we only used it a couple of times because we prefer the beach and sea. The pool leads down to the beach, where about 25 pairs of loungers and umbrellas are available to hire. We usually stay in a self-catering studio for two. It's clean and has a comfortable double bed, a good-sized bathroom with a hairdryer, and a little kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, crockery, cups, glasses and pans. There are also a table and chairs outside the door. The restaurant has plenty of choice without an oversized menu, and we enjoyed the meals we had there. They have evening entertainment too. We love Palm Bay. Our flights from EMA tend to arrive late, but the staff keep the supermarket open so we can buy essentials. The bar is often open as well, so we can have a quick drink before bed. George and Donna checked us in quickly and smoothly, even with lots of arrivals. You can pay to keep your room until 6pm on checkout day, which I think cost 30€. That was great when our pickup wasn't until 8pm: we left our bags in the designated area at reception and went to the restaurant for dinner. A safe is available too, and I don't think there's a charge. It's about a flat ten-minute walk into Pefkos, with no big hills, and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and bars there. We'd absolutely recommend this hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a clean, modern room and staff who went out of their way to help. They have luggage storage, safes and golf trolleys to take you and your bags to the room. We had a great Greek night, and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

It's our last night at Palm Bay, and I wish we could've stayed a whole month. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the family who run the resort are lovely and so helpful. Everything is thoughtfully set up. We arrived at 2am and still got an easy check-in and a warm welcome. The hotel arranged a hire car for us for one day. It was great value, and I could pick it up and drop it off at the front desk. The on-site shop is really useful, well stocked with reasonably priced food and drinks, so there's no need to walk into town for supplies. Town is only ten minutes away. We liked being a little apart from it, since evenings were quiet, and the safe walk there had plenty of cats to meet along the way. We skipped the pool after paying €15 for beach sunbeds on the first day. We fell in love with the sea and beautiful water, so we went back every day. The beach bar staff were great, and the food and drinks were tasty and well priced. We absolutely loved our stay and honestly can't fault Palm Bay.
