Romantza Mare

Meeting new people from different countries made the holiday even better, especially a family from Hamburg. The laid-back atmosphere and shared spaces around the pool and bar made it easy to connect. I travelled to Hotel Romanza Mare with my girlfriend, and it was my first time in Greece. I felt welcome from the start, both by locals and by hotel staff who tried to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were simple and mid-range, but more than enough for me. They were cleaned regularly and kept tidy, and I had everything I needed. Alex, the young waiter looking after breakfast and dinner, stood out as the “star of the hotel.” Always smiling, helpful, and reliable, he even learned expressions in our language to communicate with Slovak and Czech guests. I also want to mention Iany, the bartender at the pool and hotel bar. His good energy and cheerful willingness to help made the bar a popular place to gather. I rate the hotel very positively. The service suited its category, the staff were welcoming, and I truly felt at home. I’d be happy to return. Many thanks to the entire Romantza Mare team for a pleasant stay.

The location was pretty good and the food was good too. Nice hotel!! And if you see the TABBIE CAT, save her and feed her, SHE'S AMAZING.

The staff were very kind and polite, but the stay wasn't great overall. We were there for seven days, and there wasn't enough dining space. If you left your plate to make a sandwich, you had to guard it. Breakfast was identical each morning with few options, and the sweets were terrible, though dinner was okay. The room service cleaner came into our room while we were asleep, and the cleaning itself wasn't very good. WiFi kept disconnecting and reconnecting. Maybe it's fine for families, but not for couples.

Breakfast was amazing, honestly worth five stars by itself. The room was okay and clean enough overall, but there were a few things to fix: the AC was noisy, the shower was too small, and the showerhead bracket was broken.
