Villa Di Mare Seaside Suites

We had a suite with its own pool, which my two kids, aged 14 and 18, and I really enjoyed during our four nights here. We’ve been to Rhodes several times and stayed at quite a few hotels, and Villa De Mara is one of the best we’ve tried. The bar and restaurant are excellent, and we watched the beautiful sunsets there every evening. There are also several good places to eat just across the street. The hotel is right by the ocean. There’s no sandy beach, but you can swim in the sea, which we did and loved. If it fits your budget, we highly recommend it.

A relaxing stay, with enough nearby to suit a more adventurous holiday too. There are several nice restaurants and supermarkets close by, and central Rhodes town is either a €10-15 taxi ride or a 75-minute walk away. We spent a lovely week here in May 2025 in a deluxe bungalow with a private pool and a semi-private area to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s web app made it easy to book activities or treatments and send general inquiries. It would be more useful if prices were listed there. Booking directly got us a smooth airport transfer both ways for €25. Breakfast was good value as an add-on. The attached restaurant is high quality but has a limited menu, while the hotel bar has lots of choices, including some unusual, wonderful cocktails. Highly recommend for Rhodes.

The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well equipped. We especially appreciated having a small kitchen. The reception and pool staff were so kind and helpful, even carrying our luggage to the room, and their friendliness made us feel at home. Villa Di Mare Seaside Suites has a relaxing atmosphere and a great spot by the beach, close to many attractions. We had a wonderful stay. One thing to fix for future guests: when we tried to shower at night, there was no hot water. Still, a great experience and highly recommended.

Parking is the one drawback. There are very few spots right beside the hotel, so if they’re taken you have to leave the car about 150 meters down the road from the Suites. Otherwise, we had a great stay and I’d recommend it for families. The four of us, two adults and kids aged seven and two, were comfortable and had no complaints. The restaurant food was great too, especially the very delicious Lamb Rack.
