Roda Pearl Resort

The location was handy, just minutes from the beach and the main resort, and everything was spotless. We got a warm welcome and liked the pool area, with its clean water and very comfortable padded loungers. Our basic room had a fridge, kettle and mugs, which were great for a morning brew. We didn't use the cooking hob or ring. The mattresses were possibly the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on, and my husband felt the same. We both woke up sore after a very disturbed night's sleep. The room also got stuffy in the early evening, so a ceiling fan alongside the air con would have helped. The balcony was in the sun all day, which made it hard to find a shady place to sit. The metal door shutters also made a horrible noise because they weren't fitted properly. We weren't expecting luxury in a basic room, but I'd consider returning to an upgraded apartment if I knew the mattresses had been replaced.

We found this to be clean, friendly and very good value for the price. The accommodation is basic, but the pool area and poolside toilets were kept tidy, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The room was cleaned well by the maids. We didn't try breakfast, as we don't usually eat it. The location is great, a minute from the beach and close to shops, restaurants and everything else. Staff let us leave our bags after checkout, which helped since our pickup wasn't until around 9:30 p.m. for a late flight. We also tried the on site bar's toasties, which were delicious and about €3, with a little serving of crisps. We had one small issue during the stay, but otherwise had a lovely time at Roda Pearl Resort in Roda, Corfu. We'd recommend it.

A really nice place to stay. The pool was quiet and pleasant, set away from the main road. The rooms were good, and cleaners came every other day. The air conditioning took hours to feel cool and still wasn't very effective, so we slept with the balcony door open. Still, a great place to stay.

I’ve just got back from Roda Pearl Resort and can’t wait to return. The owners and staff are lovely and work incredibly hard to make sure guests have a good holiday. The rooms are spacious, very clean and equipped for self catering, and breakfast is available too. Although it's in the middle of the village, the resort feels hidden away, with a large paddock behind it and beautifully kept gardens, flowers and fruit trees. There's also a lovely pool and a bar area. The beach and bars are only a two minute walk away, and there's a well stocked Market right next door. Thank you, Roda Pearl.
