Saronida Hills

The setting is so peaceful, and the infinity pool is a lovely place to unwind with the Aegean Sea in view. These luxury suites are also conveniently placed, about an hour from central Athens and half an hour from Athens International Airport. My only suggestion, which I already mentioned to the very kind gentleman managing the property, is to add some breakfast choices. We’d love to return someday.

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, and the view is stunning. Mikaela and the team made us feel so welcome. We’re definitely coming back.

The sunsets from Saronida Hills are incredible, with a wide view to the west from its hillside setting. You can relax by the infinity pool or take in the scenery from one of the private, unheated spas. There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas, too. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, with good bathrooms and air conditioning. The lighting feels futuristic. There’s a pod coffee machine, plus plates, cups, glasses, bowls, and cutlery, but no cooking facilities. Although Google lists it as a hotel, it felt more like a luxury serviced apartment to me. There wasn’t a concierge during our stay, and access was handled remotely, but staff came by daily to service the rooms. They were accommodating and even gave us an extra magazine of coffee pods. It’s a very steep drive up the hill, and the place is remote. You’ll want your own car. Taxis usually avoid the area, though an occasional one might take you, so don’t rely on it. If you’re after a stay outside Athens, this is a great spot.

The sunsets here make you lose track of time. From every room, and especially from the bed, the view is stunning. The apartments are so peaceful, and having a jacuzzi meant that even as someone who loves the sea, I didn’t feel like going down to it. The owners and staff are very professional. This was my first stay, but it won’t be my last. I can see myself spending many holidays at Saronida Hills.
