Villa Apex

We were a family of 20 and found plenty of room for everyone. The villa has lots of spacious rooms, and the layout worked especially well when the adults wanted to relax upstairs while the children played on the ground floor. We loved gathering for dinner in the living room, with its amazing sea view. The landscape around the villa is beautiful, too. Penny was an excellent host, quick to communicate, thoughtful about details, and always willing to help. We spent two wonderful weeks there, with time to unwind and easy access to the beach for sun and swimming at any hour. The location also gave us options for sightseeing: the Temple of Sounion was about 20 minutes away, and the Acropolis and Athens city centre were around a 30-minute drive. We can’t wait to return and enjoy that magical view again.

The house was comfortable, bright, and clean, with big lounges and a helpful host. I celebrated my birthday there with fifteen friends, and we had a great time. It’s close to the main road and shops, with a lovely sea view, beautiful sunsets, and nice beaches nearby.

It’s a little removed from everything, so getting around without a car can be difficult. We tried it, though, and it wasn’t impossible. The quiet and those breathtaking views are worth a lot. The owner was kind and helpful, arranging transport and a delicious meal at a friendly nearby tavern. Five stars well deserved!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The host refused to return our €1,000 security deposit because four towels were dirty. At the last minute, she also tried to raise the one-day rent from €1,200 to €2,000, knowing we couldn’t refuse. Her behavior was so offensive that I’m considering asking for compensation. I won’t book a house again without reading the reviews first.
