Elounda George Studios

After a day's driving, the hosts made us feel so welcome at the taverna associated with the studios. It had a real family feel. The food was wonderfully cooked, full of authenticity and made with love. Highly recommended.

Eleni and her studios would be our first port of call when we return. We left feeling like part of the Elounda George Studio family, and what a family. Eleni is an absolute joy, full of warmth, love and hospitality that goes beyond what most people let you experience. When we had questions, including about which boat company to use, she replied quickly and helped make sure we had the best experience. We wanted to book with local businesses instead of large corporations, so we contacted Elounda George Studios directly. Their philosophy rang true throughout, from the email booking to the room details, key instructions and local recommendations. Eleni and Konstantina were so kind and helpful. We usually choose apartments, but this time had a perfect studio. It was spacious, with high ceilings and a modern kitchenette stocked with lovely crockery, glasses and plates. The fridge had a small freezer, handy for keeping retsina chilled. The bathroom was large and high quality, with a rainfall shower head, and there was a hair dryer too. Our private balcony looked over a beautiful olive grove towards the sea and mountains. The housekeeper kept the studios immaculate and was VERY lovely. The area is peaceful day and night, yet Elounda Square is only a 10-minute walk away. A friendly supermarket is less than a minute away and has everything from toiletries and groceries to alcohol and gorgeous fresh bread. Thank you, Eleni, and thank you all ❤️

For my two-week stay, the studio had everything I needed, and I could easily walk to the shops and the beach. The view over olive trees, mountains and the sea was beautiful. The thoughtful family who own Elounda George Studios went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had a good trip. I had a great stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Elounda.

We spent 10 nights at Elounda George Studios and were very satisfied. The terrace was spacious and the room very clean. On arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary fruit and raki, a really nice gesture. Ms. Konstantina was available whenever we needed help. There are supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and laundry nearby, with everything you need, and the center is within walking distance. If we come back to this part of Crete, we'll definitely stay here again.
