The team at Porto/ Peninsula made our wedding day feel magical, and we'll always hold the place close to our hearts. From the first moment, the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much to ask, and the staff were accommodating to our guests as well as to us. As someone who works in catering, I had high expectations, and the team truly exceeded them. Planning ran smoothly, every detail was covered, and they made sure the service was kept private for us, so the day felt completely exclusive to us. A special thanks to Dimitra, the head of events. She was friendly, professional and always in touch, making sure everything went perfectly. We're so grateful to her and the whole team. The food at the Borro restaurant was outstanding, thanks to the head chef and kitchen team. The hotel was spotless, with great accommodation, beautiful views and pools, a spa, golf course and plenty more. The bays with their clear, calm seawater were a lovely extra.

Our kids would hardly get out of the pool, and the views made the hotel feel like a little slice of paradise. We're a family of four from Scotland, and we already miss our stay. The hotel was spotless and beautifully looked after, and the staff greeted us with warm smiles and were always helpful. The buffet food was fresh and delicious every day. A few themed nights might have added variety, but we were happy with the choices as they were. We're already planning to return. Thanks for an unforgettable holiday!

The views and beach are spectacular, as are the healthy lunch bar, the restaurants and the front desk staff. Everything we used, in our suite and around the resort, was superior. We had a facial and full-body massage at the award winning Six Senses Wellness Spa, and would highly recommend it. If you're looking for paradise, it's here!

The views are stunning, but this part of the hotel feels tired and needs renovation. Three colleagues and I stayed one night in rooms in the 430s, none of which had blackout curtains, so the sun woke us at 6am. Checkout was torturous. Is it even legal for them to write down the long card number? We moved to the more modern Peninsula, as we had planned.

The beach was beautiful, the grounds were stunning, and our room was spacious with its own private plunge pool outside. The hotel really does offer everything. What made it special for me, though, was the staff. They made us feel welcome, got to know us personally and couldn't do enough for us. I felt like part of a family. I'll definitely go back. Highly recommend!
