We found the pool a welcome way to cool off after a long drive, and breakfast was a real highlight, with a generous Swedish-style buffet of fresh, tasty choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The building isn't new, but it has kept its charm and gave our stay a cozy feel. A comfortable, convenient stop in Serres while traveling.

The motorway location matters to us, and we've stopped here several times on the way to the seaside and back home. The nearby pool has also become a plus over the past few years. Rooms are decent and the front desk staff are great. There's no working restaurant, so we rely on takeout, though the front desk can help place an order. Breakfast is very decent, especially since we don't like driving on an empty stomach.

The owners are so down to earth and friendly. It’s a pleasant place to stay, and they serve a good breakfast ☺️

We arrived with five kids expecting the pool we'd booked at Alexander hotel, only to be told renovations had closed it and we'd be staying at hotel acropol instead. The rooms are a decent size, but the mattresses were so bad I could hardly sleep. Breakfast was very basic, and neither the air conditioning nor the Wi-Fi worked. Really disappointing, and not worth the money at all.
