I really wouldn’t recommend these rooms. For a four-star hotel, they’re terrible. The place is filthy and barely maintained, with visible damage to the walls and ceiling from reception. Inside the rooms, there’s a horrible smell, cracked walls, and dirty fingerprints everywhere. This doesn’t even deserve two stars. Stay away.

The staff were nice, and breakfast was good, but the hotel was awful for a four-star place. There was mold in our bathroom, and the showers hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shampoo and shower gel had been refilled.

Check-in was quick and professional, and we had no trouble finding Philippos Xenia Hotel during our short trip to Serres. There’s parking, which is a plus. Our room was decent and seemed clean overall, though it could use some improvement here and there. The mattress wasn’t comfortable for us. For what the hotel offers, it felt a bit overpriced.

The staff were friendly and the prices seemed reasonable. The beds were nice, and our room was cleaned every day. The food tasted fine, though the quality was somewhere between average and below average. I had cold beef and soft fries. Some areas of the hotel are a bit rough and need maintenance. The gym and pool are open to the public, so they get crowded during opening hours.

We enjoyed our stay and were able to add an extra night without any trouble. The location was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, though there didn’t seem to be enough of them. The rooms were very nice, but the carpets needed cleaning. We couldn’t get anyone to fix the shower, and I don’t think they have maintenance staff. Thank you.
