The pool area was genuinely lovely and the staff were pleasant enough, but the property felt badly run down and barely worth one star. It’s a shame, given how good the location is. The reception manager also came to our door after two days demanding tourist tax, rather than simply asking us to pay at checkout as is usual. Our room had a fridge, kettle and modern TV with a few Sky channels, but the rest of the facilities felt makeshift. There were a few random cups, three mismatched glasses that looked like they’d come from local bars, and three teaspoons. There’s no way to self-cater properly. The room itself was extremely dated and needed upgrading. The bed was comfortable, but there were no blinds at the front, and walkway lights stayed on until 4am, lighting up the room all night. There was no net curtain for the balcony either, so privacy was limited. A peacock that lives there started squawking around 3am, which didn’t help us sleep. The lift was out of order throughout our stay and looked as if it had been that way for a while. From its condition, it may stay that way for the foreseeable future, which is far from ideal for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage. Breakfast was the same every day, with little chance to vary it. There were fried, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, plus an “omelette” that was baked egg sliced up. The “bacon” looked odd, and the Greek sausages were basically inedible. If you like eggs, you’ll be fine, and the baked beans were surprisingly good. Cereal meant museli that chewed like animal feed mixed with wood shavings, or cornflakes. On the better side, the Greek yogurt was excellent each day with tinned fruit, and there was fresh bread, a toaster and great coffee from the fresh-brew machine. The “orange juice” on display was a cheap orange drink. They did have real orange juice, but you had to ask, and first they’d try to steer you back to the juice drink before eventually bringing a glass of the proper stuff. Breakfast felt cheap, limited, unappetising and boring.

We stayed for a week from 6/10/25 in 'Kosta's apartment's' in the paradise hotel complex, on half board. Jet2 Holidays rates it three stars. It’s very close to the sidari strip and a nearby beach, and the accommodation is modern and cleaned to a good standard every day. Our balcony looked over the pool, and the apartment had a large wardrobe, walk-in shower and decent beds, though there wasn’t enough bedding for cold October nights. Most of the sun falls at the back of the apartments, leaving the balcony with little of it. The shower had plenty of hot water but soaked much of the bathroom floor, and the mirror had so little light that shaving was tricky. There’s only a kettle in the room, so bring your own coffee and similar supplies. Breakfast had a few choices, juice, tea or coffee, and was fine, but had lost its appeal by day four. Dinner was at the Greek restaurant next door, with three starters, three mains and three desserts to choose from each evening, different day to day. We found it very hit and miss and left quite a lot of food, though service was good and everyone there was pleasant. The pool was very cold in October, colder than the sea, and has seen better days. Many sunloungers were partly broken. The pool bar serves snacks at a price, and drinks cost more than in some local bars. For what you pay, it’s about what you’d expect, but the outdoor areas near the pool bar feel neglected and need updating. I’d probably not stay again. I think I’d pay a bit more to find somewhere better 🤔

The location is fantastic, just minutes from the beach and all the things you need. The pools are excellent, clean and well maintained, and the hotel is generally tidy. Our room, though, was dated and badly in need of an upgrade. Its cooking and room facilities were very basic. We came self catering, but a family of four can’t make a meal on a tabletop oven and hob combo with two rings and an oven the size of a microwave. We had to get it changed on the first day because it was rusty and in poor condition. We had a family room with one bedroom and a living room containing two sofa beds. I was charged double for air-conditioning because of the family room, €16 a night, which is ludicrous. We checked in at 14.30 and were told reception was closed until the next morning. They gave us the AC remote but didn’t explain the cost, and there was no mention of it anywhere. I only found out the next morning when reception opened. I’m glad we were there just a few days. A 14 night holiday would have meant €224 just for air-conditioning. That’s unacceptable. There was no control over sunbed saving. The same towels stayed on the loungers around the clock, and other guests never moved them, so nearly all the beds were taken. Finding four together was practically impossible. I can’t blame the guests, but the hotel should manage fair use for everyone. This place has the potential to be amazing, but needs modernising and upgrading badly. I’d consider returning in cooler months to avoid the AC costs, if the self-catering rooms become much more user-friendly.

The pool is a good size and depth, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a nice little balcony, and kids go free with Jet2 Holidays. The hotel is close to the beach, shops and restaurants, right beside a bus stop. Our double room was crammed with three single beds and left barely any room to move. Air-conditioning cost extra, 8€ a day at the time of writing. Half board didn’t feel worthwhile: breakfast was basic, and dinner repetitive and sometimes greasy. Once they have your money, it feels like the kitchen doesn’t see you as a priority. We didn’t get lucky with the neighbours or their manners. The people next door played loud music and were making love on the first night, while guests on the other side peered over the high fence between balconies out of curiosity. Sunbeds were hard to get because residents were up at dawn putting towels down to claim them for whenever they might use them. Being so close to the busy strip cuts both ways, since the pubs stay loud well past midnight.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was lovely and clean. We stayed in Kostas new studios at Paradise hotel, in a perfect spot at the end of the strip. It’s two minutes from the beach, with everything else we needed just a short walk away. There are two great pools to choose from, and the pool bar serves breakfast, lunch and cocktails. We enjoyed our visit so much we’d like to come again.
