Erotokritos Sea View Home

We still can’t thank our host enough for being so friendly, communicative and welcoming. The house was incredibly well prepared, with everything we could think of, and the views were breathtaking. We made wonderful memories there, and can’t recommend Erotokritos’s house enough. We were Kristina, Nasko, Andrea and Kris. A car is a must. Agios Gordios is close enough to walk to, but the uphill way home is tough. The island is worth exploring from end to end, it’s heaven on Earth!

The owner was kind, professional and always ready to help, and the house had everything we needed. With those breathtaking views, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’d happily recommend this beautiful place.

We stayed here in September 2023, and the scenery was out of this world. I also really appreciated the water filtration unit, since we didn’t have to depend on bottled water. I can’t say enough good things about Erirokritos and his home. If we make it back to corfu, I’d definitely stay here again.

We could easily have stayed the whole month. After a wonderful week, leaving was hard, especially after Erotokritos gave us a sweet farewell gift: a little box of coasters printed with that amazing sea view, and another bottle of wine. It’s the many thoughtful touches that made Sea View Home unforgettable. We’re hoping to come back next year. My Greek partner, our Swiss friends and I stayed for a week in early October. The home sits beautifully 650 meters above Agios Gordios, with gorgeous sea views and incredible sunsets. It’s spotless and very well equipped, from the big fridge and freezer, oven and ceramic hob to the microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle, mixer and coffee machine. There were spices, teas, coffee, sugar and stevia, plus welcome water and a bottle of wine. The family also provided beach towels, umbrellas and snorkeling masks. There’s a washing machine and air conditioning too. There are two bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub downstairs. Under the roof upstairs are two more single beds and a smaller bathroom, especially handy for kids. Books in English and other languages, a fireplace, a huge TV and internet made it tempting to stay in. The two balconies have amazing views. Erotokritos and his family were wonderful hosts, always helpful and ready to answer questions. It really felt like HOME AWAY FROM HOME. You’ll need a car unless you’re extremely fit. Walking down to the beach is possible, but the return climb may be too much for most people. A car also makes it easier to see the nearby villages and beaches.
