Chorostasi Guest House

We keep coming back to Chorostasi Guest House, having stayed twice, in May 2024 and April 2025. Giannis and his family are some of the kindest people we've met. They check what you'd like for breakfast the next morning, offer helpful ideas for beaches, restaurants, bars, coffee places, and activities around Chalkidiki, and are easy to reach if something needs fixing or sorting out. If you're open to it, they're glad to get to know you too. The balconies have a gorgeous view, and on clear days you can make out the Sporades islands on the horizon. After hiking or spending time in the sea, coming back up the mountain for a shower and a cool drink while watching the sunset from the balcony is hard to beat. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything working and everything we needed. Their old mountain house character suits the setting, the views, and the other buildings in Parthenonas. Both visits were lovely, and we'll return whenever we're in Sithonia. You leave a little piece of your heart here. A note to future guests: please treat Giannis and his family with kindness and respect. They put a lot of care and hard work into making a stay in this special place memorable. Being a paying guest doesn't mean you can't treat your hosts as equals. A little respect and kindness matter, even on holiday.

The place is close to the beach, and the area is lovely. The girls cleaned every day, which was nice. But a staff member by the beach spoiled the whole stay for us. At reception we were told the sunbeds were included, though we couldn't reserve them ahead of time. Yet this employee put his things on the front row beds and then resold them for 20 euros. He kept making people leave, even though one of our party had a disability. When I asked why, he wouldn't explain. It's a shame that someone working there could leave such a bad impression of a nice hotel and Greece.

The rooms were cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was handmade, varied, and tasty each morning, served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Most of all, the family running the place made our stay special. They were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, and we felt more like friends than guests. Evangelia and Giannis, we're so glad we met you. Thanks for everything, and we'll see you again!

We came away feeling we'd made friends, not just found a lovely place to stay. Giannis and Evangelia were thoughtful, kind hosts who made us feel at home and made sure we had what we needed. The whole place was spotless and well cared for, and the view was so stunning it almost didn't seem real. Breakfast was delicious every morning too. Thanks for making our time in Greece so special.
