Geranion Village

The grounds were well kept, with a nice pool, good chairs, and plenty of parking. My room was clean and had a good balcony view, plus effective air conditioning. The bathroom looked renovated, but the sewer smell was awful, maybe there was no siphon. The room furniture was basic and outdated, though there are more modern rooms. The beds were ultra-hard, and the WiFi got very bad after 6 pm. Breakfast was poor quality every day, and the service was slow and not very friendly. For the room price, that was a no-go. I was glad I’d only booked breakfast. The staff were mostly friendly, the younger ones more so than the older ones. You definitely need a car since it’s out of Nikiti, and if you want to eat out, you have to drive back. Walking isn’t recommended. I stayed for eight days in early September 2020, having booked because of the good Google reviews, but I can’t confirm those reviews. Considering the Corona measures, I don’t see how Geranion Village got a 4-star rating. Athens hotels in the same category are really top notch. A week there was OK with a car, but I wouldn’t come back.

We were lucky with the sunny October weather, and the local beaches were stunning. You can reach them on foot by taking the small local back roads. The hotel grounds are lush and green, and our room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was wonderful. Geranion Village hotel has what you need for a relaxing, luxurious retreat.

The food was excellent, and the hotel has a pool and a beautiful view. It’s in a good spot for real peace and quiet, although it isn’t close to the sea. The employees are very friendly and make you want to return. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the beds are uncomfortable. I recommend it.

Rooms are fine, though you shouldn’t be spending much time in them. There’s a pool if you want one, and dinner is out of this world. A bottle of good wine costs just 12 Euros, perfect with the sunset. Breakfast beats what I’ve had in any US hotel.
