Haus Platanos

We loved the newest part of the property, especially the well-designed room, comfy bed, and little patio right outside. Being beside the beach made for a lovely atmosphere, and the Nespresso machine meant we could have coffee at the table in front of our room early in the morning. The beach bar was very good too. The letdown was housekeeping: our room was cleaned only once in six nights. We used the wall system to request cleaning, but nobody came, and eventually had to message the host to get it done. I also wish the owner had been a bit kinder and more welcoming.

Clean water, a free beach, and drinks made by Konstantinos made for the best beach day. The staff were so welcoming and went out of their way for us. If you order drinks or food, you can use the seating for free, and the view is incredible. Definitely worth a visit!

This would be a five-star place if there were enough hot water for a basic shower.

Nightmare! They went into our room without permission or even asking, 40 minutes before checkout, while our dogs were inside. One got out and ran toward the street. We were lucky to be coming back from the village just then and saw her. Another 30 seconds and she could have been hit by a car on the main road! They lied and said they hadn’t opened our door. There’s no daily housekeeping, yet they rushed to clean the room at 10:30 when checkout was between 11:00 and 12:00. No apology or explanation! They don’t accept cards or bank transfers because they want to avoid paying taxes. Be careful with this place!
