The owners were kind, and the place was clean, but the studio for four was much too small and had no privacy. The mosquito nets had holes, so insects could get in. The mattresses and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and need replacing, and there was an unpleasant smell from the toilet.

The AC in our room didn’t work, and there was cat feces by our door. The smell came into the room. When I asked the host to clean it, they accused me of feeding the cat and causing it to poop in the garden, which wasn’t true. I don’t know whether they were too lazy to clean it, hadn’t realized it was a problem, or were just acting stupid. We left on our second day. Only one host spoke a little English. In my more than 15 years of visiting Greece several times a year with my family, hosts have usually been polite and tried their best to help guests. I couldn’t believe someone working in tourism in Greece could act this way. That’s the short version.

Despite the nice garden, this isn’t a kid-friendly place. The hosts walked around shouting at the kids not to break anything. I don’t recommend it.
