Mavridis Rooms

The kitchen had everything we needed for a summer holiday, and the apartment was very clean. Mavridis Rooms is central, with everything within walking distance and the nearest beach only 70 meters away. Maria and Michael were warm, open, and happy to help. We asked to have the sheets and towels changed earlier than usual, and they did it without any trouble. We were very satisfied and would stay there again. Based on our experience, I'd recommend it.

The bathroom made the stay especially uncomfortable. The toilet was unhygienic and smelled like a sewer, while the shower had only cold water and a broken, leaking head. There was no soap, hairdryer, fresh towels, or daily cleaning. The stairs in the room, which lead up to the bed, felt unstable and unsafe. From outside, Mavridis Hotels looks decent, but inside it was a mess. For that price, the discomfort wasn't acceptable. I'd spend €100 more on a proper hotel or an Airbnb nearby. Avoid it if hygiene, comfort, or basic hotel standards matter to you.

The bathroom smell made the whole room unbearable, and when I tried to wash my hair, water overflowed and leaked into the bedroom. The toilet had hair in it, the shower was caked with limescale and drained badly, and the curtains were filthy and black with mold. Even the bed sheets were stained and dirty. I've stayed in places in many countries and never encountered hygiene this poor. A basic room still needs to be clean. This was the worst place I've stayed, and it shouldn't be on the market.

The constant noise was awful, and the crowded shared parking lot right outside the apartments was unpleasant. The building is clearly old and poorly maintained. Hygiene was very poor, the bathroom smelled from the pipes, and the shower was broken. The beds were old and uncomfortable too. They say rooms are cleaned and bed linen changed every five days. I wouldn't recommend it at all.
