Meliton Inn Hotel & Suites

A lovely small hotel right by the beach, with parking and complimentary umbrellas and beach beds for guests. You can order food, drinks, and fruit on the beach too, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Neos Marmaras town center is around a 15 minute walk, though part of the way is uphill. There's also a local market every Thursday selling fresh local products.

The room was small but clean, and the hotel is close to the beach. It's quite far from Neos Marmaras center. We wanted to use the sunbeds later in the day, but there weren't any available to reserve, even though we were hotel guests.

The restaurant staff were lovely, and the restaurant itself was nice for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a beachside exotic cocktail. The hotel is really close to the beach, but getting into the city takes a 15-20 minute walk. At noon and in the evening there's little to do nearby if you're active, just a few restaurants along a main road that looks awful and doesn't feel touristy. Our room was big, though the bathroom was tiny, especially the shower, which might be unusable for a larger person. The beach is across the street but small and very dirty. The umbrellas are fixed in place, and although the sunbeds are free for hotel guests, they're so crowded you can't move them enough to find shade. There are as many umbrellas as rooms, but people from other places can use the sunbeds too, so you might find none left if you get up a little later.

We had a very nice vacation and will probably come back. The beach is close, the water is clean, and the sunsets are lovely. There’s secure parking, and the hosts are warm and helpful. It feels like a family-run place, and everyone seems happy to lend a hand. There are plenty of places nearby for lunch or dinner, though the property’s own kitchen is good too. The nearby tourist port area in Neos Marmaras is especially worth visiting in the evening. It’s also child-friendly, as long as kids stay within reasonable limits when playing or talking loudly. Our family room felt cramped with two children. The large bed and two smaller beds barely fit, leaving little room to move around, and the shower cabin was uncomfortable. There aren’t many activities for children beyond the beach; the small playground is close to the road. Cleaning is done daily and is good quality if you tip the cleaners. One server was rude, though I think that was unusual.
