I left the property the next day and still got no refund. I returned the key at 10:30 AM, after being told the previous evening that I would get nothing back and could be held responsible for damage in the days ahead, even though I was no longer staying there. I’ve reported the case to Booking and the European Consumer Centre. This experience spoiled part of my holiday and cost me a lot. I did nothing wrong, I just expected the conditions promised, and the whole thing felt dishonest and intimidating. When I arrived in the afternoon, the room was nothing like the photos. It smelled strongly of mold, there were ants across the floor, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no internet, despite these being promised when I booked. The room was extremely small, had no wardrobes, and didn’t feel livable. I told the host straight away. They tried to fix the AC but couldn’t. I asked politely for another room without ants and with working air conditioning, but was told there wasn’t one available. So I requested a refund. They first offered 360 euros, only part of what I’d paid. I refused because I couldn’t spend even one night in those conditions, and asked for a full refund or at least a fair amount since I was leaving immediately. I booked somewhere else at my own expense and left. Later that evening I called to ask about the refund, but was told I wouldn’t receive any money. It was outrageous and completely unacceptable. I hope no one else has to go through this. I strongly advise others to stay away.

The only drawback for us was a disco or bar in town playing loud music late into the night, which could bother light sleepers. We stayed in the loft, and even with temperatures at 31 degrees we never needed the air conditioning. The apartment was modern, fully equipped, and had a lovely balcony where we could enjoy breakfast with a great view each morning. We arrived four hours later than planned, but the owner waited up to let us in and explain everything. We’d seen a few low reviews when booking, from people who didn’t understand that situations can happen, but decided to go ahead anyway. We had a great stay. Thanks 😄

After a 12-hour journey, my friends and I learned on the morning we were due to arrive that our reservation at hotel Olenia had been canceled. We were told there had supposedly been a flood in the apartment we booked. The late notice left us stranded and stressed after we’d planned the trip carefully. We’re furious about how it was handled, with so little communication or support. It felt highly unprofessional and left a lasting bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reliable accommodation. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

We were a family of four in apartment 3.1. Olia was responsive and helpful, which made the stay easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself was modern, stylish, comfortable, and cleaned several times while we were there, which was a welcome extra. Parking nearby was manageable even when things were busy, though we didn’t always find a spot right outside. We’d definitely recommend the place and may come back next year.
