Orama House

The view is nice, it’s affordable, and the beach isn’t far away. There are a couple of chairs outside the villa, but no lounge, reception, shared large bathroom, or luggage storage. Checkout is at 9:00AM, and our only place to leave bags before departing at 4PM was in front of the villa. That’s a bad setup. We had to wait an hour or two for the rooms to be cleaned when we arrived. The landlady and cleaner only seemed to be around for an hour or two when guests arrived or left, and hygiene wasn’t good. The bathroom smelled awful from the start, and sometimes we couldn’t flush because the toilet didn’t work. There were no hand towels. Everything is self service, the beds are stiff and hard, and the apartments are small. The WiFi was slow too. A message could take 10 minutes to send, and it only worked better outside or on the balcony. I probably wouldn’t book again because of the quality and hygiene, unless I had no other choice. If you’re not picky, mostly out of the villa, and stuck for options, it could work. Otherwise, try to reserve somewhere better a month ahead, since places fill quickly.

Very hot, with no free AC. The TV is tiny and the furniture ancient. I won't even get into the dishes. They changed the sheets once in 7 days, and there were no towels at all.

Water and WiFi were both a problem. The place was very old and so dirty. The only thing with any real worth was the view from the balcony, and even that was only worth a little.

During the 10 days we stayed at this villa, there wasn't a cleaning lady at all. It was very dirty, and there were problems with the water.
