Ormos View Apartments

It was easy to get around from this apartment in Ormos Panagias, with tavernas and clear water close by. The boat tours are just a stroll away, and there’s a lovely sea view, with Trani Ammouda beach nearby. It felt like a home away from home while we explored Halkidiki. The host welcomed us warmly, and communication with her was excellent.

The only thing that might bother some people is children playing late at night nearby. We understood that it was summer break and the kids were out of school, and we managed fine. Otherwise, Ormos View Apartments felt like home, and we’re planning to return next year. Stella and her husband Makis were among the friendliest people we’ve met. Their easygoing welcome made us trust and love them. It’s hard to experience Greece without making friends with Greek people and learning at least ten Greek words! The apartment was one of the two Lux apartments. Its bedroom had air conditioning and a TV, and the other room had two single beds, another TV, and air conditioning. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a fridge and freezer, and we especially loved having a washing machine in the bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and we enjoyed the little terrace with its view or glimpse toward the harbor. The location is right beside the village center, a small beach and the harbor are a minute away, and Ormos Panagias is nice for an evening stroll. Nikiti is a ten-minute drive, with Lidl for groceries. It’s also a good starting point for reaching beaches on both the east and west sides of Sithonia.

Stella was incredibly hospitable and gave us lots of useful suggestions for beaches, boat rides, and places to eat. The apartments were spotless, and they strictly followed COVID-19 regulations. The location is great, right in the heart of the village beside a bakery and mini-market, with a beautiful beach about a ten-minute walk away and good taverns around the corner. We stayed in June and highly recommend the place. Stella, thank you!

A nice atmosphere, though it may be a little noisy for some. The property was clean, well equipped, and lovely, and the owners were nice people. There’s parking, plus a shop, restaurant, and pretty much everything else you might need nearby.
