Stavros House

The hosts were very friendly, always available, and sell their own homemade olive oil and similar products. Our first-floor apartment had an excellent WiFi signal and a big balcony with an awning, table and four chairs. From there we had a wonderful view of Mount Athos and the sunrise. The house is easy to find, right on the beach, with parking in front and the center no more than a relaxed 10-minute walk away. Inside, the rooms were spacious and perfectly clean, with new furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom was large and well equipped too, though it could use a shower curtain. We’d happily recommend the place to friends and would be glad to visit again.

The beach is right in front of the building, and the sea view is amazing. The room looks recently renovated and was very clean. The rain shower head didn’t work. The owner said a previous guest had broken it and it was waiting for repair, but I don’t think that’s true, since it doesn’t look like it was designed to be used in the first place. At this nightly rate, we expected better amenities. There wasn’t even a kitchen sponge, for example.

The apartment was larger than we expected from the photos, and the service and location were both great. My family and I had a lovely stay. The family’s hospitality made our time at Stavros House an excellent experience. All the best to them.

Our room at Stavros Compass House looked brand new or freshly renovated, and it was extremely clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom had clean fittings and plenty of hot water with good pressure. We also had a large balcony with a table and comfortable chairs. The place was a very good choice for our four nights in Sarti. It’s just behind the beach, with most rooms facing the sea and Mount Athos rising beyond it. Communication with Alexandra before we arrived was easy. We’d definitely come back and are already looking forward to the next visit.
