The Archontariki

Nikos was a great house owner and had useful suggestions for beaches and restaurants. We really appreciated his advice. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room had a balcony and a laundry rack. Kitchen utensils and the other equipment covered everything we needed. They cleaned the room every day and changed the towels and blanket every two days.

The host was friendly, helpful, and reliable, and we'd happily book here again. Nikiti is close by for dinner, and although there's no parking at the property, we always found a space on the street. It was quiet at night, and the grounds have a lovely big garden. Our room was on the small side, but modern and practical, with a comfortable bed. There was always plenty of hot water and good pressure, which hasn't always been the case for us on holidays in Greece. Everything was really clean, and the cleaning lady did a great job throughout the property. We were lucky to find this place.

Nikos was attentive and a very good host. The studios are functional, though I don't really see what makes them “Luxury.” At under 100 euros a night, I'd call this a good place to stay. It was surprising to pay more here when I'd stayed in better hotels in Santorini and Naxos with breakfast included for 25% less a week later, in August.

About 100 meters from the main square in Ormos Panagias, so the bakery, supermarket, and a few Greek taverns are close by. The location is great, and the place itself is quiet. There's no parking lot, but we always found an open spot on the street in front of the hotel, so it wasn't an issue for us. The studio was clean, the garden was attractive and well cared for, and the host was kind and ready to help. There's also a BBQ in the backyard, with a couple of tables and chairs in the shade where you can grill fresh seafood. Archontariki is a nice place for a vacation.
