From the apartment to the town and beach, the location is just minutes away. Every morning, a variety of breakfast choices was delivered to our door, far more than we could eat. We've traveled for 35 years and been to Greece 15 times, and this was the best apartment we've ever encountered. The owner, Nektarios, is number one. He's proud of his apartments, and designed and installed much of the work himself with real perfection. A true gentleman and generous host. Thank you for looking after us when our ferry was two hours late. When we arrived in Sitia, Nektarios met us in the street and insisted on carrying all our bags inside. The building has lots of impressive architectural details. It's one of the few apartment buildings with a lift, so we went up to the third floor, where he showed us the door security. Inside, it felt like a five-star-plus apartment: stylish Italian furniture, German appliances, a heated spa that could seat 10 people, a sauna, and a hydro-style massage shower. The rooms and balconies are large. There's also a flat screen TV and Bluetooth devices connected to ceiling speakers, among other things.
