The little green islands and clear turquoise water around the bay make Sivota feel like a paradise. It’s such a peaceful place to unwind, though summer brings a lively atmosphere. I loved wandering around the pretty harbor, with its cafes and seafood restaurants. You can rent a boat to look for hidden beaches, or just watch the sunset by the port. This charming fishing village is a must-see on a trip through Greece, and I’d highly recommend it.

From the balcony we had a sea view and lovely sunsets. We stayed in room 4, which was shaded for most of the day, and there was a parasol for the stronger sun in the early morning and late afternoon or evening. The area is quiet and well placed for the beach, shops and restaurants. Gallikos Molos is a really nice beach, about a five-minute walk away. You can rent two sun loungers and a parasol for 10 euros, or just stretch out on a towel. There’s good shade there until noon, and the beach bar serves delicious food.

There’s a nice little port, but Sivota feels built for tourists. It has plenty of facilities and a lot of concrete, while the small coves get crowded. Prices are generally high for Greece. I’d pass through for the port, but wouldn’t recommend staying if touristy places aren’t your thing.

It’s an older apartment hotel, but clean and nice. The location is right in the middle of Sivota, so getting to lots of places is easy, even if walking is a bit difficult. I’d happily come back.
