Fari Stone Villas

The place was immaculate, with a fresh smell as soon as we walked in, and the team had thought through the details. They were waiting for us at the entrance in the heat, and set up a WhatsApp group so we could reach them any time. Nikos was especially thoughtful, translating his messages into our language so nothing got misunderstood. We felt looked after from the start and were delighted with the service.

The days here had their own quiet pace. We spent hours simply doing nothing, with olive groves around us, mountain air, and the sea in the distance. It felt like a reset, and we left with a lasting memory. Fari Stone Villas sits in nature and pairs its raw stone look with real comfort. The villa feels carefully made, with warm, simple interiors and a calm atmosphere. The bed was wonderful, and the morning light was lovely. The views were cinematic. Service was kind and present when we needed it, while giving us space otherwise. Everything was spotless and comfortable. We came to take a break, and it stayed with us.

Quiet afternoons by the pool were a real pleasure, looking out at the sea and sky and listening to cicadas and birds. The villas and hosts are lovely, and I think this is the best spot on Thasos. I hope they stick with the no-music-by-the-pool policy and keep things at this standard.

We’re already hoping to return. The villa felt warm and homely, and the peaceful setting worked so well for a family break. Our hosts were kind, attentive, quick to respond, and helped arrange a surprise birthday party for our child. That meant a lot to us. The private pool was cleaned every day, as was the villa. Everything was in great shape and spotless. It’s one of those rare places that you fall for right away.
