We had a good stay here two years ago, which is why we arranged to return directly with Sofia (the owner) in early August. She had told us in 2023 to contact her directly next time instead of booking through Booking or another agency. We agreed on three double rooms for September 7-12, 2025. Then, on September 6 around 11 or 12 in the morning, she messaged us on WhatsApp to say there had been an error and the rooms were NOT available. We were due to leave at 4 AM the following day. She offered three rooms at another guesthouse for the same price, but wanted our answer within one hour or she would return the advance payment. We had already paid part of the total in advance, and that deadline was upsetting, as though the stress could be settled that easily. It wasn't our mistake, which made the short deadline even more frustrating. We looked up the other guesthouse on Booking and saw a score of 7 and many bad reviews, so we declined. Our bags were packed, our time off work was approved, and we had less than 24 hours before departure. We know mistakes happen, but the situation caused awful stress and disruption.

The rooms are very close to the beach, and Ermioni is a lovely place to slow down and enjoy Thassos. The host is one of the sweetest people we've ever met. I'd recommend it especially to couples or families.

Efi was a lovely, polite host and gave us helpful suggestions for beaches and restaurants to visit. The rooms were excellent, with towels changed and cleaning done every other day. Tripity beach is very close, though the large rocks in the shallow water make getting into the sea a bit hard for kids. Thasos is a small island, so it's easy to see lots of beautiful places.

The staff were warm and ready to help, and the room was exceptionally clean, with careful attention to detail. I was also taken by the beautiful beaches around the property. Its location made this hotel my favorite choice on the island. My stay felt perfect, and I can't wait to come back.

I'm reposting my Booking review because people should see this hotel. What made our stay at Ermioni Elegance Hotel special was the host, whose kindness and personal care made us feel safe and able to relax. They went out of their way for us and clearly care about their guests. We send our greetings! The staff welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived. The hotel has elegant decor and thoughtful details, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. I loved the sea view from the balcony. The service and care throughout were impressive. Ermioni Elegance Hotel really combines comfort with sophistication, and I hope to return for another memorable stay.
