The people were the best part of the hotel. Everyone, from reception and the restaurant to the cleaners, was incredibly kind and accommodating. I felt welcome and well looked after, and would absolutely recommend it. We came as a family, but I could easily see myself returning with friends. We were a fairly large group and had both standard and superior rooms, I think. I loved the wooden details in the beautiful superior room. The standard room had slightly older furniture, but was completely fine. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the food was great. Breakfast was a classic continental spread, while dinner usually had two courses and something different each night. There was always a vegetarian option, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic, close to the beach and a large supermarket, right in an olive grove where goats and sheep graze. You could hear their bells in the evenings, a lovely, peaceful sound. The old olive trees were impressive too, with thick, gnarled trunks that really caught my eye.

The laundry help was a big relief, and every request we made was handled quickly and with a smile. The staff at Fillippos Hotel were so friendly and made sure we felt looked after the whole time. We had a fantastic, comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it.

The food was the weak point for us. We chose half board, but the selection was limited, and after a week the same breakfast every morning got hard to face. The room itself was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff worked hard to make us comfortable and were very friendly, and the hotel has a pleasant feel. Four stars from me.

The location is decent, with good beaches, tavernas, and a large supermarket all within walking distance. There’s no sea view, though. For over 120 euros a night, I expected better value. The room felt built to 1990s standards, and without a shower curtain or walls, water ended up all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was very poor too. I’ve stayed in many places in Greece, and I’d rate this hotel poorly. I wouldn’t return.

We found a beautiful, shady beach nearby, and the big supermarket is close too. The city and ferry are about a 30-minute drive away. The staff’s hospitality and dedication were amazing, and the dinner was delicious. The rooms were nice, and it felt like a perfect holiday spot with kids. Thank you!
