Yvonni Studios

The hosts were so welcoming, and the little breakfast touches were lovely: yogurt and fresh fruit salad, plus water and a couple of beers waiting in the fridge. Yvonni studios is just a short walk from the center and port, with restaurants, coffee shops, and gift shops nearby. The hike to the cave of the apocalypse took about 20 minutes, then it was another 12 minutes up to the monastery of John the theologian. The views from there are breathtaking. I had a really memorable stay in Patmos and would happily come back.

Yvonne makes you feel looked after from the moment you arrive. It's a family-run place, and the service was perfect. The rooms are clean and have a private shower and toilet, a kitchenette, fridge, and kettle for tea or coffee. Each has a pleasant terrace with a table and chairs, and some also have a washing machine. The location is handy for the port, main street, shops, restaurants, and bars, yet the neighborhood stays quiet. Rooms look toward the opposite hill and Chora. Some have a side view of the sea, and one has a direct sea view. If you want to stay with a Greek family in Patmos, this is a lovely choice.

From my bed I could watch the sea, the stars, and those beautiful sunsets. I felt welcomed like part of the family, which is why I keep returning to Yvonne studio every year, just like many other guests.

Yvonne, the owner, was so kind and helpful, and the view was amazing. I couldn't have imagined a better place for my holiday!
