The pool was quite cold, though we were there at the end of September, so that might just be normal. On hot days it was refreshing. Villa Chrysalida is lovely for a vacation: the house and property are clean, very spacious, and in a quiet area. Everyone on the Guest First team was friendly and professional, especially Lena, who was the perfect host. When we spotted a wasp's nest, Lena took care of it just a few hours later so it wouldn’t disturb us.

The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and ready to help with whatever we needed. The spaces were clean and beautiful, and the big green garden made for a quiet, peaceful setting. It’s about 10 min from the old town of Rethymno, and close to the sea, a supermarket, gas station, and restaurants. The views are amazing too. We highly recommend it and will definitely go back.

We found the pool especially good, it’s very large and clean. The place is spotless, quiet, and has a nice view, with warm hospitality that makes you want to return. It’s ideal for a family holiday and only 10 minutes from the center of Rethymno.
