Atlas Hotel Skiathos

The room change was handled with very little transparency, which was the worst part. We were told the renovated suite was an upgrade, then the next morning heard our booked garden view room couldn't be provided because of “technical issues.” We had booked a “Superior Double/Twin Room” with garden view on 16th Feb 2025, and on arrival were moved to the new suite building without any photos, even though we asked. It had no garden view, inadequate heating, no hot water after running the taps for 18+ mins, and smelled strongly of damp. The second room we were moved to that night had the same problems. The conditions were so poor that we checked out and booked elsewhere. After we complained, the hotel confirmed a full refund on 5th May, but as of 13th May it still hadn't cleared in my bank. Staff were polite, but the misrepresentation and the basic heating and hot water problems, along with the missing garden view, were unacceptable. Book somewhere else if you expect to get what you paid for.

The shower could be improved, since water gets outside the stall and makes a bit of a mess. Apart from that, we had a good stay for 3 nights in April 2026. The hotel is near the AirPort, about 10 min away, and roughly 3 blocks or 5 min walking from the port. They first put us in a small room, but changed it after we mentioned it, which was great customer service, especially from Olga and Stella. Thanks again!

After an issue with the mattress at the start, we asked for a replacement and it was sorted promptly. We slept perfectly on the following nights. We also appreciated how clean the rooms were, and the safe and mini fridge were useful. The shower gel and conditioner smelled lovely and didn't dry out my skin. The hotel has modern facilities, and the staff were helpful and ready to accommodate our needs. Everything was explained and communicated clearly. Since we stayed a little longer, we were upgraded to a better room with a terrace, which was a lovely surprise. We'd definitely like to come back.

Right in the heart of Skiathos town, with coffee shops, restaurants and shops nearby. The closest beach is a 10 min walk. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I thought it was good value for money. Definitely recommend this place.
