Hotel Australia

The location was wonderful, and the woman who greeted us was amazing, though sadly we didn't see her again. After that, things were a mess. The room was okay, but the sink was outside the bathroom and the room smelled of sewage. We opened the balcony doors every day to air it out, which let in food smells from nearby restaurants. The receptionists seemed new and weren't helpful. When the winds changed, they couldn't advise us on which beach to choose. Rooms were cleaned every three days, and we only got fresh towels then. It was one of my worst hotel experiences, so I had to say something. The place has a lot of potential, but it isn't being put to good use.

Kalispera! My best friend and I had a great stay at Australia hotel, right in the center. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Dora, who made our visit special. The only downside was that the cleaning service wasn't very efficient. Big kiss to the staff! Blanche and Frida.

We loved how clean and welcoming the room was, and the staff cleaned it every day. The girls at reception were lovely and helped us choose a beach, as well as answering all our questions. The hotel is handy for the center, port, and airport. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'll stay there again next time we're in Skiathos. ❤️

The central location at Hotel Australia in Skiathos is still convenient, but our second stay left us unlikely to return next year. We were there for five nights and the room wasn't cleaned even once. One evening, a tattooed woman at reception confronted us and accused us of something we hadn't done. It was uncalled for and made us uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We first stayed in 2024 and had a great experience, with clean rooms and a good location, so we came back in 2025. It's disappointing that the cleanliness and hospitality fell so far short this time, and that one staff member's behavior spoiled our earlier good impression.
