The fridge was the one problem: being built into the furniture, it gives off a lot of heat that doesn’t disperse well, and even water wouldn’t cool properly. Apart from that, everything was perfect and we’ll definitely return. We had a wonderful stay at Skia Cozy Living. The studio has high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a minimal design that gives it character. It really is cozy, and we slept amazingly well. The center, port, restaurants and shops are an easy walk away, and Amnos Beach took us about 10 minutes to reach. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, with fresh towels each day and beach towels provided too, a really thoughtful touch.

We were given a free upgrade, the communication was great, and the apartment was cleaned every day. It’s a really nice little place in Skiathos, furnished beautifully and just like the pictures. I’d definitely recommend it.

Communication was easy and good, without much pushing car rentals like I’ve experienced elsewhere on this trip. The location worked for us: an easy walk to the center, but away from restaurants that might be noisy. A few nights, drunk people passing by banged on doors and scared me a bit. We stayed in the lower unit, which is at street level, so it felt too exposed to leave the windows open, especially when we weren’t there. I’m not a fan of air conditioning, so that wasn’t ideal. The room felt like a basement and didn’t feel much like a holiday place to me. The shower was awkward too: the showerhead only attaches around hip height, with no overhead shower, so it wasn’t relaxing. The light switches have several settings and took us a while to figure out. There was plenty of room to hang clothes but very few hangers.

A small terrace was lovely for coffee in the morning sun. The room was excellent, cozy and well equipped. It’s right in the town center, yet away from the crowded streets. Perfect. 😘
