We were lucky to get a top-floor apartment, with great views and sunsets to die for. It's a family-run complex, and they provide a cleaner who changes the towels and sheets. Nikos greeted us and gave us his number in case we had questions about the island. He suggested places to visit and explained how to use the bus system. His mum was lovely and told us to contact her if we had any problems. The complex is just outside the busy old town center, so it was quiet at night. The nearest restaurant, Naval, is only about two minutes away and does great Greek breakfasts. Several beaches are within a ten-minute walk, and the old harbour is less than ten minutes away too. For the price, I couldn't really fault it and would definitely recommend it.

The only thing I'd change is the kitchenette, which could use more utensils or basic cooking supplies. Otherwise, we had a great stay at Vaya zorba studios. It's close to town and a short walk from bus stop 0, so getting around the island was easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The owner doesn't speak English, but was incredibly kind, always ready to help, and made us feel very welcome.

We visited on 08/07/2019, and as we'd been told, the rooms had been updated with new furniture. We stayed in room 4, which was quite small, but enough for two. The cleaning lady came every day, and the bathroom was quite clean. Vagia, the owner, was warm and helpful with everything. One big plus if you have a car: Vaya Zorba Studios has its own locked parking area, which is useful because parking in Skiathos is a huge problem. The port is about three minutes away on foot, and we enjoyed walking past the little shops and people. I recommend all her rooms. Great place, enjoy your vacation!

We’d happily stay here again. The price felt fair, and while the apartment wasn’t luxurious, it had what our family needed to keep cool during the day and at night. Mrs Vaya was welcoming, the location was central, and having a parking spot was a real plus.

Our stay here was the one bad part of Greece in 2016. They couldn’t take credit cards, the toilet leaked and made a lot of noise, and the parking arrangement was a joke. The staff were rude.
