Aleka and her husband are very hospitable. You can find plenty of apartments with a jacuzzi, but far fewer offer such a stunning balcony view. If you stay here, you’ll need to rent a car or be comfortable walking up a steep road. Still, you can reach the city center or Glifonery Beach on foot. At Glyfonery Beach, there’s a real chance you might spend time with fantastic Monachus Monachus 😉

You’re paying for the view, because the room itself is old and had a lot of problems. The taps were faulty, there were no switches, the Wi-Fi was poor or absent, and there was no mosquito net. We stayed five nights, and I’m not sure the sheets were changed at all. Our towels were changed after three days, with one missing. There were no bedside lamps, and the lamp by the mirror didn’t work. The walls were covered in blood from dead mosquitoes. We asked for mosquito repellent on Monday, but it arrived Friday without a tablet. When we complained at checkout, she answered ironically and very rudely, in a racist way. She was also displeased that we wanted to pay by Visa instead of cash. Completely unacceptable.

A good place for the price, with stunning views and very friendly hosts. I can definitely recommend it. You’ll need a car unless you like climbing the mountain to reach your room.

I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did here. There was no hospitality at all, and everything you read is a lie. There are much better places to stay.
