We felt looked after like family throughout our visit. Effi kept being kind and generous, offered to clean (which we hadn’t expected, but accepted a couple of times), and left fresh towels along with treats such as wine and olive oil. She even brought us two bikes in case we wanted to ride around town. I don’t know how to thank her. I can’t recommend this place enough for a holiday or climbing trip. You’ll be taken care of, and the stay will be memorable. My husband and I had come to Leonidio for our honeymoon, after dreaming for years of climbing in Greece. A friend in Spain gave us Effi's information. She welcomed us with open arms and had the house sparkling clean, with oranges and cake in the kitchen and candles lit. We arrived late, but meeting up so she could let us in was easy. It can be nerve-racking to arrive in a new country where you don’t speak the language, but Effi speaks perfect English and helps with anything you can imagine. The house is modern, well insulated and really warm, with a hot shower. The kitchen appliances are new, the bedrooms and living room cozy, and the decorations make it feel like home.

Effi was always available with useful information and provided everything we needed for the young children, plus a few extras. She treated us very generously, and it was a pleasure meeting her and her family. The house suited our family holiday perfectly. It was fully equipped, including heating and air conditioning, an oven, washing machine and coffee machine. It was spotlessly clean, on a quiet street, and had a nice front yard where the children could play safely.
