Oceanis Hotel

The owners were very aggressive and unpleasant. We were visiting the beach and sitting by the water, next to their umbrellas but not beneath them, when they came over because they thought we were too close. The sea is public space under European laws, and it doesn’t belong to their hotel. Other clients started taking the owners’ side. It seemed clear to me that we were treated this way because we’re foreigners. A Greek family beside us, also visitors, had no trouble. I found the owners racist and aggressive, and strongly recommend not going there.

Hotel blue sea was quiet and relaxing, with lovely balcony views and the beach only a couple of meters away. The service was awesome, and the owner even offered us a lift to Sapounakeika for dinner, which we were happy to take. The owners speak Tsakonian, the local endangered language, so if you’re interested, don’t miss the chance to hear the language of the modern Spartans. A perfect spot for a restful beach holiday.

The sheets were the crispiest, and the room the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The hotel isn’t very new, but the owners do a great job keeping everything comfortable and clean. The rooms have been renovated recently, and the owners are lovely.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was simple, bright and very clean. It had everything we needed, plus a lovely view right on the waterfront.
