Smyros Resort

The place turned out even better than we expected. Everything was beautiful, clean, and cosy, and the staff and the hotel owner were extremely friendly. Whenever we ran into the owner, he offered us something to drink 😅. The staff were always happy to suggest where to go, what to see, and which beaches nearby were best. There are good places close to the hotel for delicious fresh seafood, and the pool is great too. I'm not sure what else to say, come and see for yourself 🙌🏻

The hotel restaurant ended up being the best food we had anywhere on our travels in Greece. We were hesitant to try it at first, but glad we did. I ordered pastitsio, my wife had tsoutsoukakia meatballs wrapped in eggplant, and we also had boiled vegetables and salad. The hostess brought fresh fruit at the end. The hotel room and pool were amazing too.

We arrived for one night in early May and stayed nearly a week. Maria, who runs the villa resort with her father, looked after us so well. The view is beautiful, and the location really feels like the end of the world, the road ends here :) There's a lovely walk along the next bay to a small Agios Georgios church. Gorgeous mountains surround the place, with a crystal-clear pebbled beach in front. It's a little jewel, with wonderful hospitality and care.

The people at Smyros Resort made this stay feel like visiting family. Mr. Smyros and the whole team were so welcoming and kind, and Sonja looked after us at lunch as if we were her own. We ate at the hotel restaurant every day, and the food was always fresh and amazing. We were there for 16 days and had no real complaints. The bathroom was a little old, that was about it. Our room was cleaned every day while we had breakfast, and the cleaning ladies were quick, precise, and fantastic. Everything was so clean. The pool was kept clean too, with fresh towels, and there’s private access to the ocean with showers. It was hard to say goodbye.
