Mairi Lina Studios

The best moments were the easy family days by the water: the kids could swim and play in the grassy area for hours, and one morning dolphins went by about 100 meters away. We spent time together on the terrace above the sea, and met lovely people there. The place is thoughtfully designed. We loved sitting outside the apartment, under the eucalyptus shade by the beach, or around the communal table. The rocky beach was still a lovely spot for morning coffee, and the sea was great for swimming and playing. I want to thank Panayotis for everything he did for us and for keeping the whole area so clean and neat, and Lina for welcoming us so warmly. After two weeks in Kala Nera with my family, we came away with memories we'll keep for a long time.

The owners are kind, friendly, and ready to help with anything. These Studios are a real find in the area, right by the sea with a private beach. There's an authentic Greek tavern next door serving homemade food that tastes like mama made it. I'd give these Studios 10 out of 10 and happily recommend them.

The outdoor setting and atmosphere were fantastic, and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are another story, though: some felt much less attractive and comfortable than the pictures suggested. I'd rate the outdoors 6 stars and the room 2. I think the upstairs rooms are better, which makes the score hard to settle on.

I've stayed in several places in Greece, and this one is easily my favorite. You really do get a room with a view. Highly recommended.
