Anthi is the highlight of the mansion. With handmade pies, warm coffee, and even warmer hospitality, she makes everyone feel at home, even when they're away from home. Six stars if I could give them. We stayed here for two weeks in August, and it's an amazing place for all kinds of travelers, from families to solo adventurers.

The historic building is lovely, and the location is cracking. Taverns and restaurants are just a one-minute walk away at the village square. Breakfast is served in a gorgeous courtyard with sea views. The room itself was really nice, though unfortunately our side room didn't get much natural light. Don't miss the attic lounge room, it's really cool.

My partner and I had booked a stay, but we tested positive for COVID-19 that same day. I contacted the hotel and got incorrect information: they said we had to wait until the following day for a refund because it was a holiday. After several attempts to reach them, I was told they wouldn't refund the reservation, even though it was a health-related issue. It was very disappointing, and the service felt dehumanizing.

Nicholas and Katerina went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. The hosts were amazing, and the hotel is delightful in a truly beautiful setting. We enjoyed a romantic break at Pelion Mansion, though it would also suit families, with different rooms available and a setting that allows outdoor activities all year round.

The hostess was wonderful and shared the building’s impressive history with us. We had an excellent breakfast, and the Icaros room gave us one of the best views of Pagasitikos. Santikos is a real gem. If I return to Vyzitsa, I’ll definitely stay there again.
