The host made us feel so welcome, with a lot of kindness and thoughtfulness. The apartment was spotless and nicely put together, and it had everything I needed. It was peaceful and cozy, with that home away from home feeling. We had a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly return. I highly recommend it for a relaxing, special visit.

Spiros's father, Statos, was a pleasure to deal with, friendly, caring, and efficient. The place is lovely, too: the apartment was clean and good, with a huge courtyard and private parking for at least 5 cars. From the table outside the apartment, you can watch the gorgeous sea view and catch the sunrise. A really nice stay with wonderful people in Kalamaki.

Spiros was away while we were there, but he replied quickly and clearly by phone. His parents took care of us and were welcoming, generous, and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped, and good value, and the garden was beautiful and relaxing. There were kittens, too! Balkoni is a fantastic taverna about a 5-minute walk away, with a fresh menu each day and delicious food. There are several amazing beaches nearby, including Labinou and Kalamaki. You really need a car to reach them, though Kalamaki beach is walkable if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Kalamaki also makes a good base for exploring the gorgeous Pelion, with an easy drive to beaches on both the east and west coasts. If it's windy on the east coast, head west. We had a wonderful time at Spiros Apartments and can't wait to stay again. Highly recommended!
