The beach right in front is lovely, and we took the kayak out to explore the island across from us. But what made Thea houses special was Maria and Panos. They’re warm, smart, hardworking people, and the care they give feels completely natural. Our little daughter spent all her time playing with their kids, and Panos took us by boat to watch the sun set behind Glarus island. It looked like a painting he’d made up on the spot for us. The house itself is modern, stylish, well equipped, and very fairly priced for Greece. It’s no surprise they stay friends with guests after summer ends. Sending love from Mila+Sasha+Sirma+Vili, and wishing Maria and Panos many more years of welcoming guests who understand what they offer.

The beach and scenery are gorgeous, with plenty of islands nearby to reach by kayak. Panos even took us around by boat and showed us a beautiful sunset. Thea houses felt more like being welcomed into a family than checking into a distant hotel. The houses and grounds are lovely and have everything you could need, plus more. Maria and panos were so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

The view is amazing and it was so quiet. Our apartment was comfortable, and we had all the snorkeling gear we needed. The owners, ponas and Maria, took care of everything for us. ponas also took us on a lovely kayak outing to explore the nearby beaches. A beautiful place with the nicest hosts. Highly recommend!

The private beach is only a few steps from the porch, and Pano can arrange boating, kayaking, and other water activities. He’s great at showing you how to use the equipment, and he also cooks a lovely authentic Greek BBQ. The houses are comfortable and practical for a summer stay, with a kitchen stocked with cookware, utensils, and appliances. If something’s missing, Maria will bring it over as soon as she can. Our family of 11, including five children aged 10 to 16, stayed for seven days in August 2018. From the moment we arrived, Maria, Yotta, and Panos made me feel as if I were visiting close family, though we’d never met before. What a team! They were attentive and quick to respond to anything that might trouble us, and made us feel at home with little extras, advice about local attractions, and help finding answers whenever they didn’t know something themselves. We’ve stayed in many vacation places and had good hospitality, but the team at Thea Houses, Milina went beyond what I could have expected from a holiday rental. There are lovely places and authentic villages to explore nearby, and Maria and Panos can point you in the right direction. We had a great family holiday there. I highly recommend staying at least seven days. Just go, and you’ll feel at home.
