Urania Traditional Stone House

What a lovely discovery :-) It’s simple and elegant without trying too hard. You settle straight into village and mountain life in one of Pilio’s prettiest little villages.

A quiet, well-kept stone maisonette with a generous space for reading, relaxing, yoga and meditation. The scenery is wonderful, and trails nearby lead into the forest and surrounding villages. Inside and out, the design is striking, with all the amenities, and the traditional stone house gives you the feeling of stepping a century back in time. It’s especially cozy even when there’s snow on the mountains, and works well for couples or families.

We’re a couple with three adult children, and we had a lovely stay. The house is spacious, clean, charming and authentic, and the hosts were kind, approachable and did everything they could to make us happy. Staying in the village was a unique experience. We especially enjoyed that feeling of village life, though it’s important to follow the directions: the car is parked about 300 square meters from the house, which could be a little difficult with small children.

The sunny courtyard is a lovely finishing touch to a distinctive stay. This spacious, atmospheric two-story house has all the necessary comforts and feels warm and welcoming. It’s been cared for with impressive attention to detail, using beautiful materials and excellent aesthetics. The traditional mansion is preserved impeccably, with the feel of a folklore museum, and the space suits a range of activities.
