Villa Erifili by Pelion Esties

We stayed five nights at Villa Erifili in August. The views were amazing, and the outdoor space was beautifully designed. Inside, the house was very clean and mostly comfortable, with most of what we needed. Since there isn't anywhere nearby to buy essentials, though, we wished there had been more supplies. The kitchen and lounge are nice, but much darker than they look in the photos. The drive to and from Villa Erifili was extremely hard because of the narrow, winding roads. You'd need to be an experienced driver who is ready for that trip. We didn't go out in the evenings because nobody wanted to drive those roads in the dark. The footpath we were told about wasn't easy either, and I wouldn't recommend it with young children, especially after dark. We expected peace and quiet in such a remote place, but there were repairs going on at the neighboring property. At times the noise and constant barking from a dog made it impossible to sit outside. One thing we really disliked was the plastic-backed mattress protectors. We'd never encountered those before, and they made sleeping uncomfortable, like being in a hospital bed. Villa Erifili might suit people who are happy to stay in one place, but I wouldn't stay longer than two or three nights. We used it as a base to visit beaches, and the difficult driving made it a poor fit for that.

Everyone loved Villa Erifili during our wedding weekend in Agios Georgios! The garden, views and comfortable house all made those special days feel just right, along with its distinctive traditional style. The owner was polite, helpful and glad to meet our needs. A must-visit place.

We spent five days here in August with our four teens, and it was a dream vacation. Loved the villa's design, the beautiful house, huge garden and jacuzzi. The view was lovely, and the location worked well for getting to both the beach and the mountains. They'd thought of everything for comfort, and Katerina was the kindest, most welcoming host. I'd definitely recommend it for a special stay. The price felt very reasonable for such high quality.

Thaleia and Katerina from Pelion Esties were excellent with communication and customer service. Villa Erifili in Aghios Georgios is comfortable, warm, clean and well equipped, with a lovely traditional feel and breathtaking views over Pagasitikos.
