Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were so sweet and accommodating. The old mansion has been beautifully restored, with spacious rooms and a pool.

The quiet around Mare Monte is lovely, with leaves rustling and cicadas singing, even though it's close to the center of Spetses. It's a magnificent old building, and Maria and Spyros made the stay even better with their kind service. A real gem. You can book with confidence and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Maria and Spiro were wonderful hosts, and the service was impeccable. The restored mansion and its surroundings were beautiful too. Everything about the experience was amazing, exactly what we hoped for 💙🇬🇷💙🇬🇷💙

We were in Spetses for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at Mare Monte. Maria's fresh baking each morning was such a treat, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. When a minor medical situation came up, Spiros took his scooter to get the doctor, and they were back in 15 minutes. The owners, Maria and Spiros, were the best. We really enjoyed our time there!

The breakfast was generous, and the coffee was the best. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's a fully renovated period mansion that feels incredibly comfortable and makes it easy to relax. Clearly the best accommodation on the island. Highly recommended!
