The hotel has a grand, historic feel, but the service doesn’t match the price. Our friends stayed nearby at Nisia Hotel for a quarter of the cost and had much larger rooms, cold AC, and friendly service. Our own room was tiny, and although the AC ran, it never really cooled the space. The floors also need proper mopping: they were so dirty our feet turned black. The pool is very small, there’s no pool service, and you have to go inside to order anything or fetch your own towels. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. Guests waited more than 10 minutes for coffee, and the staff weren’t helpful or especially child-friendly. High chairs were filthy, so we had to clean them ourselves. The kitchen wouldn’t make simple off-menu items like oatmeal, sliced avocado, or smoothies. Smoothies were only offered every other day, and when we asked for oatmeal they suggested mixing buffet oats with warm milk ourselves. It’s a nice hotel, but it isn’t five-star.

We’re already talking about coming back. The cooking class at the Bostani farm-to-table experience was a real highlight and felt so special. The Belle Époque building is breathtaking, and we loved looking out from our balcony over Bouboulina Square and saronic gulf. Breakfast had a lovely range of fresh, delicious options, and the service made us feel cared for throughout the stay. It was unforgettable.

The spa has a few services, and I went in for a pedicure. The ladies were kind and helpful, and the place felt neat and clean. There were so many colors to choose from. I’d definitely go again.

The food didn’t quite live up to what I expected, especially with the rest of the hotel setting such a high standard. Even so, it’s a stunning place to stay and take in the island. The bar was fantastic, with cocktails made just right, and the setting made every sip feel special. Poseidonion is elegant, historic, and full of charm, with a timeless atmosphere and impeccable service. And btw, Spetses is amazing. It’s actually my favorite Greek island. ✨

The partial sea view rooms were unbearably noisy, with loud music every night until 1am. On our last night, an incredibly loud event took place right under our window, and the hotel hadn’t told us about it when we booked. They offered another room, which was also very loud, or a free drink or room service. None of those options worked for us. The hotel is beautiful and well located, but the service falls far short of a five-star experience. If you do stay, I’d suggest a garden view room. Personally, I’d stay somewhere else and save the money.
