Villa Margarita

The pool is a lovely place to unwind, and the views from our room were breathtaking. This felt like one of the most peaceful, authentic places I’ve stayed, with a warm local charm throughout. The room was clean and really nice, the bed comfortable, and the staff welcoming. It was great value, too. There’s no kitchen, but ordering food from local restaurants to the hotel is easy. Fresh coffee is available all day, along with a drinks fridge for guests. The villa is just a short walk from the centre of Spetses main town. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The pool area was quiet and pleasant, and the staff were wonderfully hospitable whenever we needed something. Housekeeping was remarkable. Our clean room had a small, practical balcony, plus there was a fridge and water in the reception area. It’s a small hotel close to the centre of Spetses, but away from the ongoing moped noise. There’s no restaurant on site, though the city has plenty of bakeries, grocery shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The room was wonderfully quiet, and I liked the homey feel, the pool, and the books in the first-floor libraries. The price was low, which helped make the stay feel balanced. There weren’t any pans, plates, or other things for making your own food.

Our triple room was affordable and had a lovely view. I swam in the nice pool every day, and water and coffee were available. The walk up the hill was a lot, and getting my case up three flights of stairs was a struggle. Nobody offered to help. Still, it was a pleasant stay.
